Booking multiple rooms from your account you could apply the club lounge passes to the additional rooms.  Per the T&C's only the room you are staying in is entitled to breakfast/lounge benefit.  In practice though many properties will just extend it to all rooms you've booked though.  Other than using it this way it's useless for Globalists.

Can always be opened if the property chooses or go back to inventory if someone cancels.  Just keep checking it.

Usually they release all available award/point-based rooms a year before. Not showing availability is because they are all taken.   I cancelled the very property that you mentioned last night (and another). They immediately release those rooms to the market. (I could still make the same bookings within several hours, though would be at higher/market rate, i.e., 40K per night vs 30K).
You just have to be persistent to check the late oct dates and snatch them up when someones release them.
