Last few months I have noticed more and more DM's with people with 0 Posts and rather new accounts asking to buy your certs etc and immediately asking you to contact you on WhatsApp. They have no referrals.

Seems more and more shady to me. What are others doing? I won't deal with people like this personally.

I would proceed with caution.
I usually refrain from dealing with anyone "new" without prior reference from a longer standing member of the frum.

I’m new and I can see the hesitation. I would ask for payment first. Simple enough

It's not the issue of payment only....it's also the issue of our accounts getting compromised or shut down

There was a post recently on a Hyatt Reddit group regarding selling unused awards now that they are easily transferable. The post listed DDF as the best option to sell them. I would think many of the new users are from there.

That is valid. I also am concerned about that too(Hyatt banning us). I would be quite sad to lose my globalist status after all these years but how could they compromise our accounts?

I wouldn’t shocked if you are getting new members from Facebook as well. There is a new Hyatt group on Facebook for trades and there are three little dictators on there and the group is “odd” to say the least

They can simply report you to Hyatt for selling certs/awards
