How would I go about booking 4 nights at a PH from two different accounts (2 CC sign up bonuses) I understand that I will have to be added as an AG and make 2 separete resarvations from both accounts, but what will be after 2 days will I have to check out and check in again, again as an AG?

I just booked a room with my award night for my BIL, and they told me over the phone that if I don't show up they will have to change the reservation for a points reservation as one can't gift award nights.
Does this make sense? I think it's the first time I have ever heard this

I can explain to the hotel that it is for a group of people and I do not want to bother them with the hassle of checking in, so I will check in for all of them.

Why don't you book some of the stay using Hyatt points?
