Do the 2 night Sign-up bonus and the 1 night anniv. stays count toward the 12-night challenge toward Diamond status?

Word on the street is that anniversary nights are longer extendable, but they'll deposit 10K HPG into your account instead.

maybe that's better. Therefore, will the nights booked with the 10K HPG (maybe even 2 nights of C & P) count towards the 12-stay challenge for Diamond status?

The Hyatt hotels in NYC such as andaz 5th ave are bookable on a anniversary night or only a sign up night? Is there Manhattan hotel that can be booked with a anniversary night?

It is a Cat 1-4 anniv night that was set to expire on 10/31/2014.
I inquired about the 10K points instead, but they said that they changed things and only award points for the 2 night sign-up award. the dec. extension showed up online right away.
