Just want to make sure I understand this correctly, combining free nights from 2 accounts is problematic? What if one booking is under my name and the other under my wife?

What is best practice for buying sign up nights?

The account holder books it with the buyer being added as a 2nd guest.. and then buyer transfers funds? I assume the booking could still be cancelled by the account holder?
