Selling a reservation at the Park Hyatt Maldives for Feb 22-26 for $2500, diamond account. Hotel is fully booked for any dates around those dates.
Is there a good place to sell this?

Obviously the Sign-up nights (when used at PHP, etc... on a diamond acct) are at least double the value of the cost price. The DSUs are also worth hundreds.... So people don't buy DSUs?

No. Diamonds get Elite nights as well as points for the stay. That alone I consider "payment" for the upgrade.

Probably not around any of the mileage blogs or forums. Can't really see people paying for that.

I would like to stay in the Andaz 5th Ave Splash Suite 1/25 for one night. I have hyatt points but I only have Plat status and no suite upgrade, Does anyone have a suite upgrade and can I buy it and add it to my C+P reservation? Please PM if you want to sell me on or let me know any advice on how to make this work...

True. But if he wants the Splash Suite (usually $555) then even a cat 7 free sign-up night cannot be upgraded, correct?

Officially you will not be confirmed in a suite for the free nights.

You can use DSU for p&C nights and get the suite but they will not garuntee that for the free night you get the suite. Chances are you will not have to change rooms, I wouldn't worry about it.
