Obviously- but still over the course of one's stay if there is a high level of personal service they must pick up on it..

Eg when I stayed at the jw Cancun everyone from the doorman to the pool-boy greeted me by my first name..

True but I have done this plenty of times (booked thru someone else's account) where the one that checked me in was at front desk and saw us over the course of our stay-no one ever said anything to us but Im sure the guy figured out what was going on so was just wondering if at hotels where a lot of ppl do apparently have done this if they let it slide or if they started tightening up..

I am looking to stay at the Andaz Maui from April 10-17 for p+C. I am  taking offers from Diamond members with DSU's who would like the nights and would book this under their account.


Alternatively I would book p+c at the Hyatt Regency Maui same dates through a Diamond account with DSU.

How long after the card anniversary do Hyatt anniversary nights post to the account? The fine print says 4-6 weeks, but in practice, how long does it actually take? I'm waiting to close the card after it posts, so the sooner the better, but want to know what to expect.
