paying 10% rebate for Hyatt stays on my globalist account for US/Canada/Mexico/Carribean. Also I will personally call hotel to push for upgrade ahead of time and have tactics that work very well.

selling Hyatt 30k night (Globalist)

selling hyatt 15k night (globalist)

selling suite night upgrades.

How are you doing Canada/Mexico/Carribean? They check passports in Canada and Mexico

I have done several times at multiple properties and it has worked no problem at all in.  there is no risk to this whatsoever if it's a cash state

Subsidized Globalist stays before Feb 28.

I'll pay you 15% of the base price of your stay, or $30/night, your choice. So if your stay is $300, you'd get $45 from me. Even if your stay is only $80, you'd get a minimum of $30 per night.

And you get Globalist status for your stay. I can throw in a suite upgrade certificate for any bookings of 5+ nights or >$1k.

At the time of this writing, my 15% offer is the highest in this thread. I've got many Hyatt transactions of this type over in the Reddit marketplace, please let me know if you'd like references.

FYI, I'll match the $40/night offer in this thread. I'm also upping my 15% subsidy offer to 20%.

I don’t get it. Just book a Cat 1 for 4250-3750 points per night and get your stay credit. Why the need for all these crazy subsidies?

I also don't get it. If acct is globalist already what makes it worth paying 20$ a night ?  For the tier bonus ?

Hyatt lowered 2022 requal requirements to half (30 vs 60). And they are giving double night credits for all stays before Feb 28. So essentially people can requal through Feb 2023 by staying 15 nights by Feb 28.

But offering 20% subsidy seems a bit outrageous. I don’t see the logic or the math behind it.

Not sure this is true.  What if they say we can’t check you in until all of your party is here with passports including the persons who’s account the reservation was booked out of?

20% subsidy is basically just buying points at 1 cent/point and getting the 2x nights for free. Basic earn is 5 points per dollar spent, bonus journeys adds 10 points per dollar spent, and Globalist is another 30% basic earn for 1.5 points per dollar spent, netting 16.5 points per dollar on regular Hyatt stays. Resorts are an additional 5 points per dollar, giving 21.5 points per dollar spent. Add in the 2x nights, and it's not a terrible deal for him to give 20% back.

This happened to me at the Regency in Toronto last year. Dropped the SO off to check in because she wasn't feeling well and made a quick run to the drug store. They wouldn't let her into the room until I got back. Is there another method to guarantee someone can check in internationally aside from the second guest on the reservation?

It's a cash booking. They just change the name. They can't reject you. Globalists don't get special rates.

And I am talking from experience. Are u ?

Was this a cash booking or points ?

I highly doubt this was the exact case. If the second name is on the system , this is what it is meant for. Perhaps the second name wasn't there or the frond desk agent couldn't find it, or she didn't have a credit card in her name
It defeats the purpose of the second name feature.

Cash booking, they wanted the passport of the primary guest. Second guest was on the reservation and she had her own credit card, but we didn't try switching the reservation to her name. From what I understand, that would remove any globalist benefits associated with a booking. You're welcome to doubt any data point that doesn't align with your narrative though

So u answered your question. They could switch the name  but reject the benefits. But they won't deny check in. Getting the globalists benefits for second guest checking in is never a guarantee. Not even in USA

It's absolutely logical. I value Hyatt points at 1.2 cpp, so on a $100 stay I'd pay the person $20 and get 1,650 points, which I value at $19.80, about the same. I get the qualifying nights as an extra perk, and the other person gets Globalist benefits for their stay.

The offer that was posted is 40 a night. And if room is 40$ there isn't really any point earnings
