I am happy to pay him.. if he makes a call to fix it.

it is common to sell as secondary.. but I asked him the reservation should be under my name.. ( Upfront )

Update: he flat out refused to pay or even call me to discuss. must be a scammer.  I made a poor hyatt agent call the FD manager and get it refunded. First time this has ever happened to me. I *do not* recommend doing business with nu9uri

 but don't assert someone else bcuz you don't know what it is.   you  don't understand what normal people called  " under by your name / buyer's name"

In general that's how most people sell certificates on the forum Hyatt has a different option imo the buyer should definitely state clearly about his way he wants to make the reservation.

Always get payment first.  If buyer has a problem with that then I supply references.  If still a problem then I cancel the deal and sell to somebody else.

Maybe not standard but it is easier for the seller to just book out of their account online or on the app rather than call, so if it's important for the buyer to be the primary they need to make sure they clearly state they're "looking for the reservation to be gifted/make them primary."

Do you just make up rules as you go? Making the buyer the primary you will not run into issues. If you want credit for the night and cause potential problems for the buyer that you should state so. Or how about you just list when selling or buying?

Huh?  I didn't make any "rules" I said it's easier/quicker for the seller to book it via app or website, so if gifting the reservation is important to the buyer they should say so.  Common sense stuff here.
