Im pretty sure I remember doing it in the past with no issues but can’t confirm 100%. I currently have an active booking for September 2022 with a certificate expiring in May 2022 that’s what I know for sure

T&C's clearly says that checkout needs to be by expiration date. I'm not sure I want to risk it, unless someone else can report from experience.
