no offense but whats that got to do with the price of tea in china? first of all, we're talking about rabbanut MEHADRIN. secondly, i find it hard to believe that if an owner wants only a certain product on a higher standard, the kashrus organization would force him to buy a lesser standard hashgacha (you probably mean that if the owner of the establishment wants a lower standard rabbanut, the rabbanut can't stop him and thats not the case at the plaza - its the owners who wish to adhere to a higher standard) but again it doesnt make make a difference since were talking about mehadrin, and lastly what i stated is FACT so you can argue until youre blue in the face, it wont matter. (you can verify it by speaking to anybody who knows anything about kashrus in israel)

Why don't you go across the street to Marvad Haksamim, located in Hechal Shlomo, and buy some prepared food Friday morning.  Wide selection and very reasonably priced

That would require some place to warm up the food.

Any cheap $10-$15 double burner with a makeshift blech ought to do the trick.

In Tzfas 2 years ago I was astounded at how inexpensive and delicious the food we bought at the tzeirei hashluhim school (under R' Landau hechsher) was.  Cooked Shnitzel was something like 22NIS per kilo!!!
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.
