Topic Wiki

I am trying to put a list together of the pro's and cons of the main bassinet strollers:

UppaBaby (UB)
PRO:
so easy to push
great basket (HUGE)
the bassinet is easy to take on and off
the wheels are easy to remove if need be
folds in a sinch
handle bar is great for tall and short people
the rumble seat lets the kid sit like a human being (not slide down)
the break is easy to push and doesnt break easily
the lay back position is great for kids who need to sleep on the go
the sun visor is a life savor
option to use with car seat (need to purchase the adapter)
fantastic customer service

con:
its wide but still easy to push
it can be heavy for some
the lock to close the stroller (it broke on mine)

I know that's what all the ddfr's say. That's why i feel like i must be missing something, cause it seems the citi select is better for a double.

myself along with many DDFers here will tell you the vista is the way to go.
That's true as a single.
Don't think that's true as a double.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

That may very well be true.  I dont know about the Vista as a double.  The OP did not mention he is looking for one specifically to make it a double.  He just mentioned a pro (for him) of the citi is that the second seat can fast forward.

ETA:  over read the OP saying he needs it specifically for a double stroller.

It's not about the quantity of your posts.  It's about the quality.

I am specifically looking for one as a double. I have a city mini as a single which I am very happy with
The strange thing about both of them is that the foot rests don't fold over 180 degrees. This would make them take up much less space when folding them up. I can't quite figure out why they don't.
Condensed folding is important to me so we can pack it in the trunk of the car on a car trip

Have UBV which needs to be sent back for repairs. I have a 6month old and I need a backup stroller. I don't want to spend a lot, but I need something decent, I hate the umbrella strollers..
Something with a car-seat adapter would be great.

IMHO Everything depends on your usage/needs/preferences.
but. . . in general Citi Mini is best in single and double version.
light, good size, easy to fold, well priced.

Almost same price to buy a single for 1st kid and double if you need for a second kid  as to buy city select + 2nd seat.
single will still be useful to have around even if you have the double

so we went w/ single for 1st kid and we'll be happy to get double when we need it.
