I am trying to put a list together of the pro's and cons of the main bassinet strollers:

UppaBaby (UB)
PRO:
so easy to push
great basket (HUGE)
the bassinet is easy to take on and off
the wheels are easy to remove if need be
folds in a sinch
handle bar is great for tall and short people
the rumble seat lets the kid sit like a human being (not slide down)
the break is easy to push and doesnt break easily
the lay back position is great for kids who need to sleep on the go
the sun visor is a life savor
option to use with car seat (need to purchase the adapter)
fantastic customer service

con:
its wide but still easy to push
it can be heavy for some
the lock to close the stroller (it broke on mine)

Juvenile Planet said they don't have old models anymore, as did Piccolino. Both have the City Mini double for $360. Does anyone have any ideas where to find for cheaper? I can't really wait until it goes on sale.

regarding umbrella strollers, there's been some back-and-forth here, any current ideas?

UB G-luxe: nice but it's to umbrellas what UBV is to strollers; more expensive and does it all
Inglesina swift: is it good? durable? lean back nicely? some reviews mentioned the seat being short (shallow). is that people's experience here?
citi vue: any opinions? experience?
any others?

We bought the City Lite Jogger.  180-75=105 on amazon (came with amazon GC of 75).

We like it.  The seatbelt is a bit odd, and hard to close, but at least its easy to open.

Well, you can't use it while it's folded anyway

What do you need it to be compact for, exactly? I would say the City strollers are actually very compact, in a different way/form than a typical umbrella stroller. It may not be quite as compact as a true umbrella, but it's small enough for most needs.

Hi all,

Seeking some advice about strollers. My wife is expecting and although we are not expecting twins, we see a value in purchasing the Bugaboo Donkey over the other Bugaboos since we would like to have kids close together in age.  Is this a stupid thing? Do people have the Buagaboo Donkey that can say what they like and don't like about it.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You!

I would stay away from bugaboo and look into uppababy vista 2015.

we actually decided against the donkey, most likely getting the uppababy vista 2015 (seems like a really great stroller) but we also like the bugaboo buffalo. Does anybody have any of these strollers that they can give some advice on.

Thank You

I have the Bugeboo Buffalo, its a great carrige, strong , smooth , beautifull But its not compect at all its big klutzy, whan i travel it take up almost the whole trunk of a full size car (with the besinet) so i bought for  $85 a graco click & connect stroller for when i travel, it did brake after 3 months (the graco) but i got back the money from Amex & graco sent me a new wheel. but for evreyday use its a great carrige if u could afford it, (or ur mother in law pays for it ;-) FYI It was $1180+ tex

I am aware of the price  ;) thank you for input. we plan on buying the chicco keyfit and the keyfit caddy for easy use when travelling.  we have an suv so space should not be a problem.

We got the Donkey once we had our 2nd (after having an Uppa Baby for the 1st).  The Donkey sucks -- wheels are small and difficult to push (especially when your kids get a little older), it's hard to fold up and store away, and the handle doesn't go as high as the Uppa Baby.  Highly recommend avoiding this product.

Need advice. Planning to fly down to miami and rent a car. I currently have the City mini GT and have an adapter for the car seat. So even when folded the car seat adapter kind of sticks up. Am i asking for the stroller to get damaged traveling with it like that. Any and all advice welcome.
