Topic Wiki

I am trying to put a list together of the pro's and cons of the main bassinet strollers:

UppaBaby (UB)
PRO:
so easy to push
great basket (HUGE)
the bassinet is easy to take on and off
the wheels are easy to remove if need be
folds in a sinch
handle bar is great for tall and short people
the rumble seat lets the kid sit like a human being (not slide down)
the break is easy to push and doesnt break easily
the lay back position is great for kids who need to sleep on the go
the sun visor is a life savor
option to use with car seat (need to purchase the adapter)
fantastic customer service

con:
its wide but still easy to push
it can be heavy for some
the lock to close the stroller (it broke on mine)

She took it out the box and tags off. Anyway its for her daughter. Why is it any different than coming in with a kid in it
I've heard of people coming in with a kid in their stroller and still being charged by the mamzeirim here.

We all love to hate on everything Israel, but 99.99999999999999% of the time if you follow the rules to the T you will be fine, laws are laws and if you don't like them then move to BP or KJ
You try bringing in a stroller/phones/food/weed that isn't allowed, even if the guy before you got through doesn't make you entitled to anything.

Thanks. Is it lighter than the big double stroller ? What's the story with the wheels that it comes with ? Why are people buying other wheels ?

1. which stroller are you referring to? 2. people find that the air tires pop easily and the new wheels are unpoppable but i have the old wheels  for a year and a half and it never needed to be replaced

Its only 4" narrower than the urban jungle double IIRC. Is it lighter ? Are those the regular 10" tires that are popping ?

I have mountain buggy cosmopolitan and the wheels seem pretty sturdy. Been up and down the Israeli outdoor steps. (white rock).  Never had to do indoor as I live ground floor.

Those seem to be a newer kind of wheel. And 12". They sell the cosmopolitan there or you had to bring it over ?

I have a rebate from Baby Jogger that I would like to use up because it is expiring soon. If the stroller you purchase is above $500 then the rebate amount for you would be $30, if it is under $500, then the rebate amount is $20. Please PM me if you will be purchasing a Baby Jogger stroller anytime soon.

Thanks

2. yes
Seems pretty dishonest to sell the stroller with crappy wheels & then make you pay for good wheels IMHO. This is a brand name, not some garbage company.

Anyone know if I can use a 20% off coupon when picking up an item that I had BB&B ship to store?

Or am I better off printing out my registry and bringing it to the store instead?

TIA
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

You should be able to use one. Just keep in mind that BB&B's generous return policy doesn't apply to baby items.

Have the duet for 8+ months. Very happy with it! I found the air tires better than the others but they have to be pumped....
