Topic Wiki

I am trying to put a list together of the pro's and cons of the main bassinet strollers:

UppaBaby (UB)
PRO:
so easy to push
great basket (HUGE)
the bassinet is easy to take on and off
the wheels are easy to remove if need be
folds in a sinch
handle bar is great for tall and short people
the rumble seat lets the kid sit like a human being (not slide down)
the break is easy to push and doesnt break easily
the lay back position is great for kids who need to sleep on the go
the sun visor is a life savor
option to use with car seat (need to purchase the adapter)
fantastic customer service

con:
its wide but still easy to push
it can be heavy for some
the lock to close the stroller (it broke on mine)

so then why does everyone buy them at BB&B?
They don't. Buy at Nordstrom and you're covered.

Have the duet for 8+ months. Very happy with it! I found the air tires better than the others but they have to be pumped....
The air tires come with it or that's the replacement ?

Thanks! Is their return policy lifetime, even for items that were used (and broken)?
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

Yes, though it has to resemble the original item. If you bring a pile of metal, plastic and cloth and say it's a stroller I wouldn't count on it.  ;)

Don't know what other options there are but the Mesa works seamlessly

The UB Mesa snaps in without adapters.

Can that be snapped in together with the regular seat in place ?
Or do you just use the car seat instead of the regular seat that the carriage comes with ?

Instead of. No car seat goes over the existing seat, even with adapters.

Looking into kickboards. Have Mountain Buggy Duet, not interested in their attached 'scooter', prefer a 'generic' buggy board. sofar I'm seeing these:
http://www.amazon.com/Englacha-Plastic-Board-Rider-Black/dp/B0045Y1F4W
http://www.amazon.com/Lascal-Buggy-Board-Mini-Black/dp/B0046EC004

Anyone here have experience? preference between these? any other suggestions?

The lascal maxi is supposed to be better then the mini, and i see that it's cheaper now.... I have it for a single stroller and like it.
You need to buy an additional piece for the duet....

The new uppa baby can be used as a double stroller, so I was wondering if I can use both simultaneously, not replace it.

If you get the adapters to make it a double stroller then you can have the car seat in one position and a regular (rumble) seat in the other position.

Anyone have experience with the mutsy igo? I've never seen anyone with it(or any mutsy for that matter). I'm wondering if that's for a specific reason or just because nobody has it

I have the mutsy evo urban. I loved it when we were using the bassinet. However, now with the regular seat not so much.

Does not fold nicely. It has a strong frame, looks and is very smooth. Just not convenient

I am looking for an adapter for my mountain buggy car seat. I gave the cosmopolitan stroller. I think it is called TS 21.
The cheapest I found was 40 bux.  Is there any way to get it cheaper or a fake version?
