Topic Wiki

I am trying to put a list together of the pro's and cons of the main bassinet strollers:

UppaBaby (UB)
PRO:
so easy to push
great basket (HUGE)
the bassinet is easy to take on and off
the wheels are easy to remove if need be
folds in a sinch
handle bar is great for tall and short people
the rumble seat lets the kid sit like a human being (not slide down)
the break is easy to push and doesnt break easily
the lay back position is great for kids who need to sleep on the go
the sun visor is a life savor
option to use with car seat (need to purchase the adapter)
fantastic customer service

con:
its wide but still easy to push
it can be heavy for some
the lock to close the stroller (it broke on mine)

what about the bugaboo donkey i know it expensive and bulky but you can always convert in into a single so your technicality just paying 1200 up front for a single and getting a good double for 800

newborn, no
if you prefer side by side and are in narrow city doorways /stores, I believe the mountain buggy duet is the narrowest side by side

Doesn't concert to single IINM. More like 1 1/2. A basket would go there

Do you have an infant seat adapter? I'm not happy with the way my Graco carseat connects.
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

quote from a friend who saw this thread but isn't a DDFer:

Quote
you can tell the person asking in the stroller thread i'm very happy with my donkey - if you are willing to spend the money it is definitely worth it. and it's quite narrow even as double - fits through any standard door - and as a single it's only slightly wider (possibly not even at all wider) than the uppa baby vista

wasn't so happy about the basket size but they've made it bigger since my model

If baby facing you is important you can purchase a carrycot & connect it on.

Anyone?
I doubt you're going to find someone who has owned/tried out both. It's also not exactly a direct comparison. The MB has no second seat option - lines up better with the BJ Versa. Other than that, just watch a detailed youtube review (there are several channels that do this) for each and base your decision off that.

If buying a stroller from BBB can probably save by using giftcards. See thread.

I have a bugaboo donkey2 and I'm trying to get it into the travel case. I had the buffalo and never had a problem. The videos on YouTube are all outdated and not for the new one.  Anyone have the donkey2 that has successfully got it into the travel bag correctly?
Any tips would be great.

Hello, im looking into easy not expensive but not junky in and out of the car stroller, like a sturdy umbrella. Does anyone have experience with the Summer Infant 3D Lite Convenience Stroller? Or can anyone recommend a stroller?
