I am trying to put a list together of the pro's and cons of the main bassinet strollers:

UppaBaby (UB)
PRO:
so easy to push
great basket (HUGE)
the bassinet is easy to take on and off
the wheels are easy to remove if need be
folds in a sinch
handle bar is great for tall and short people
the rumble seat lets the kid sit like a human being (not slide down)
the break is easy to push and doesnt break easily
the lay back position is great for kids who need to sleep on the go
the sun visor is a life savor
option to use with car seat (need to purchase the adapter)
fantastic customer service

con:
its wide but still easy to push
it can be heavy for some
the lock to close the stroller (it broke on mine)

I love the UB G-lux.  Great canopy (like the Vista with the extended part), folds nicely and not very heavy.  Also has a padded insert on seat.  Have it for 2 years.

In store only.

I love how everyone in CLE though has converted from Bug to UBV.  Practicality will always win in the end.

For some reason, the goto in my area is the City Mini. which we knew off the bat we wouldn't get.  My parents had bought us the UB Vista but my wife wanted the Cruz (just came out in 2012).  It's about 3/4 the size of the Vista and we love it.  The Cruz is more practical for our tiny apt.

It's only 3 pounds lighter and 2.5" narrower, you lose the awesome huge "4WD wheels," worse suspension, you get a smaller basket (which is one of the best features of the UBV for shopping, travel, etc), there's no bumper bar, you can't add the rumble double seat, and you don't get a bassinet.

Not sure if it's worth it.

I agree. Personally, I liked the Vista better but ultimately it's my wife who made the decision and carries it around all day while I am at work. We have free reign of the UB Vista which is at my parents about 10 miles away, which we use for travelling.

Anyone have any ideas for a good solid bag/case for my bugaboo cameleon? I mean something with at least some padding, not just a duffle bag. And I don't wanna spend the 160$ on the official bugaboo one, but something similar. TIA

Anyone has this
http://shop.philandteds.com/push/navigator-stroller-buggy

reviews?
I have the Phil and Teds Sport http://philandteds.com/us/Products/Push/sport
which is the older model and I like it a lot. I get lots of compliments on how I fit 2 kids in such a small area. It was the first of its kind to stack the 2 seats instead of having them side by side. Now there are a bunch of other strollers that stack but many of them are very bulky.

Just ordered the vista and citi select- for use as a double stroller. Here are my thoughts-
citi select:
- folds flatter and smaller than vista (big plus)
- second seat can fast forward

vista:
-stands up while folded
-folds down easier (with the citi select, you must detach  a couple parts to get it to fold completely flat)

I'm thinking of going with the citi select. Anyone car to chime in?

Never used the citi but myself along with many DDFers here will tell you the vista is the way to go.

I know that's what all the ddfr's say. That's why i feel like i must be missing something, cause it seems the citi select is better for a double.

That's true as a single.
Don't think that's true as a double.

That may very well be true.  I dont know about the Vista as a double.  The OP did not mention he is looking for one specifically to make it a double.  He just mentioned a pro (for him) of the citi is that the second seat can fast forward.

ETA:  over read the OP saying he needs it specifically for a double stroller.

I am specifically looking for one as a double. I have a city mini as a single which I am very happy with
The strange thing about both of them is that the foot rests don't fold over 180 degrees. This would make them take up much less space when folding them up. I can't quite figure out why they don't.
Condensed folding is important to me so we can pack it in the trunk of the car on a car trip
