Topic Wiki

I am trying to put a list together of the pro's and cons of the main bassinet strollers:

UppaBaby (UB)
PRO:
so easy to push
great basket (HUGE)
the bassinet is easy to take on and off
the wheels are easy to remove if need be
folds in a sinch
handle bar is great for tall and short people
the rumble seat lets the kid sit like a human being (not slide down)
the break is easy to push and doesnt break easily
the lay back position is great for kids who need to sleep on the go
the sun visor is a life savor
option to use with car seat (need to purchase the adapter)
fantastic customer service

con:
its wide but still easy to push
it can be heavy for some
the lock to close the stroller (it broke on mine)

Last night we tried out my sister in laws UBV, wheeling it outside on sidwalk street and on grass. It wheels like a dream can't compare anything to it. But wife doesn't think she can get used to the height of the handlebar and its just not comfy for her to push.
If there would be a way to make the handlebar a inch or 2 lower....

Buy it from Bed bath via a registry. I can all but guarantee she'll get used to it, but if she doesn't just return it at any time.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

How's that work? I can order something off my own registry? Register in bedbath or buybuy ? In store or online? Coupons?
What's the return policy?

I wouldn't push the UBV too hard. :) (no pun intended).

She is going to be using the carriage most of the time so if she decides on the UBV great, but if you convince her any issue related to the carriage will be blamed on UBV.
It will always be in the back of her mind that UBV is great but we should have got a ..........

Looking to get the UBV. This didn't work, so I'm thinking about this.

BBB has the 2013 model for $729. Plus 20% off is $583.20

I need to meet some spending on a BGR, so I'm thinking of buying BBB GC from OM with my Amex for an additional 10% = 524.88 (and maybe some CB..sshh don't tell anyone).

Anyone have any better ideas or suggestions?

Why would I need to call Amex.

BBB has lifetime coverage.

The question is if it's worth it to do the whole GC option for 10-15% savings, but I don't see why not.
