Topic Wiki

I am trying to put a list together of the pro's and cons of the main bassinet strollers:

UppaBaby (UB)
PRO:
so easy to push
great basket (HUGE)
the bassinet is easy to take on and off
the wheels are easy to remove if need be
folds in a sinch
handle bar is great for tall and short people
the rumble seat lets the kid sit like a human being (not slide down)
the break is easy to push and doesnt break easily
the lay back position is great for kids who need to sleep on the go
the sun visor is a life savor
option to use with car seat (need to purchase the adapter)
fantastic customer service

con:
its wide but still easy to push
it can be heavy for some
the lock to close the stroller (it broke on mine)

we tried it out because liked the idea that both seats are real seats (both completely recline, etc)
with the second seat attached, we found it difficult to push and maneuver
in the end we switched to ubv with rumble seat and love it!

I am selling a brand new unopened in box Bugaboo Cameleon 3 in Aluminum/Dark Grey.
I was able to get a great deal on it from Nordstrom, which has a great return/exchange policy if you want a different model.
The stroller retails for $969. I am asking $820 and located in Queens/5 Towns area. Please PM if interested

I ended up buying the Citi Select with the extra seat. Will try it out for a few weeks and take it on a domestic trip before we decide to keep or return.

Anyone have any experience with the per Perego book pop-up? Expecting my first child in October and wife and I are so overwhelmed with all the options but we are leaning towards the peg Perego.

Is the City Mini GT double a good stroller for E'Y?  I really can't afford it, but my sister said that we could sell it in E'Y before we leave for around what we paid for it here in the states?

Experiences?  Opinions?

For how much you'll probably be walking here it's k'dai to invest in a good stroller.
Maybe you can find one used in good condition.

The shaila is the regular mini vs gt.  Worth the extra?  Seems so, just want confirmation.

Also, I called two stores here.  Both were cheaper (480) than Amazon.  480 sounds right?  (I cannot fathom paying that much for a stroller, if I was going to keep it.)

That sounds about right. I think stores in lakewood are about 499.
IIRC
GT= better wheels, adjustable handlebar, more comfy seats
REG= about 6-8lbs lighter so that may make a difference if you need to shlep it in/out car or up/down stairs.

Elemeno and the other store (on 2nd) both had it for 480.

Yes, we're happy with it.

We had a wheel break after a couple of months, and they sent us a new one very quickly - great service.

is there any advantage to ordering from bed bath and beyond through a registry as opposed to just ordering online and then bringing my receipt to store with coupon? because it seems like shipping is free either way on anything over $49

Can you gate check the bugaboo chameleon (bassinet)?
How can we travel with it easily?
I remember when a coke was a nickel, and you could buy VRs in OD.
