Problem pulling appid
« on: July 17, 2011, 08:55:24 PM »
Anyone ever have a problem pulling the appid from the source code of the summary page?

I did a 3bm Citi app and was able to pull the appid from Firefox (HHonors) and Chrome (AAdvantage), but not IE (ThankYou Preferred). I opened up the source and did various searches for app, appid, application, id, etc. but came up with nothing. The other 2 started with the date as a number string (20110717) so I searched that too, but nothing. The application status phone number, which I assume is where I'd call to get a person to tell me my appid based on my ssn, is closed over the weekend. The ThankYou card was my #1 because I need it for Israel CDW.

Anwyay, I know I can't really do anything about it now, so I guess I was just venting. If you've had a similar problem, or have a suggestion for me, please let me know.

i know this is an old topic, but i didn't find any recent search results about this.

I applied for 3 cards from Chase and 2 said pending and one said call and quote reference number, I called and they found the quoted ref.

I tried to get the appid's from the other 2 apps, and found the numbers (via source code), I used the same method on the above app that clearly gave me the ref, but it was different to the appid I found in the source code! the 3 appid's found in the source codes are all very similar, just 1 digit off, but the ref quoted to me had 6 digits different. I haven't called yet about the 2 pending apps, but in my past experience they haven't been able to pull up the apps based on the appid from the source code (they asked for SSN and saw all apps). (and based on the fact that 1 app provided me a ref, I'm thinking the appid's I found are not correct) am I doing something wrong? I don't want to recon rep to see my other apps if I can avoid that!

I should just call and and ask them for each app id? that sounds kinda weird, why would I need them in their eyes?
