Just wanted to point out. You realized how much longer that is than the others. In my opinion tefillah/hodaa should be shorter than spelling everything out. There has to be a part that's still left inside your heart.

Please elaborate, I don't get the problem here.

The only thing I can understand is people making assumptions on what the meaning and purpose is.

What's sad is, how it's taken out of control, it's sad to joke that he's moshiach, or that it's the same level as Chanukah or Purim

It jokes that he's moshiach in there?

And why is it sad to look at a personal salvation as the salvations of old? Whether as a joke or personal feeling. Ever read the storyteller how local communities had miracles and they called it the purim etc of their time? I was always raised to find personal meaning in Torah and finding meaning in being let out of jail early for someone who thought he was spending his life there doesn't seem sad to me. The fact that this was given to him personally and not hung up for everyone shows even more how it's a personal thing.

And that's on a literal level, on a silly jokling level I really don't get it.

The gratefulness and the like is amazing, but this stuck me deeply wrong

I understand it struck you and apparently others as wrong, sad, etc. I just don't understand why...

In yeshiva they used to give out "Megilahs" when it came to a special event like yud tes kislev and it told the story over, no one thought it was a real megilah, it's just a way of relating a story. That's different I understand, but if there is no hard being done I just don't get the outrage.

I feel it's a mockery of the tefillos that Chazal instituted.

The fact that this was given to him personally and not hung up for everyone shows even more how it's a personal thing.

Is it personal if this pic has been sent around the world?

Maybe at first glance. But if people think about it for drop they'll realize that its a present to him. And in no way whatsoever is it mocking anybody.

It's not a piyut.
It's a mockery of the al hanisim using the same words and style, pretending to be equivalent.

ETA: It's not the worst thing ever. It just feels wrong so I will say so. Probably if it was given on Purim I'd say it's fine.

This is sick.
Is that the first thing that came to your mind when you saw this?

If so, I sincerely hope it's just a bad moment you were having, otherwise you might be able to use some help or inspiration.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

I hear, like I mentioned with the megilah example, it's just something people do with modern events, it's not meant as a mockery. But I can see how someone who's never seen anything like it before can be insulted by it. But to me it doesn't feel like that at all.

Good thing right and wrong is not based on your feelings...

I gave my reason above. At the end of the day we must use our own judgement, I'm not telling anyone else how to feel.

I hear, like I mentioned with the megilah example, it's just something people do with modern events, it's not meant as a mockery. But I can see how someone who's never seen anything like it before can be insulted by it. But to me it doesn't feel like that at all.

I'm not personally insulted, I just think it's wrong for the reason stated above.
I'll agree to disagree.
