You pulled a half a sentence where he's being coy saying he didn't work in the plant and see underage workers with his own eyes. Don't be ridiculous. The whole argument is about the guilty plea.

I certainly don't know if the old management knew of their age. and the discussion of whether not hiring those who seem to be kids without proof of their youth will get you arrested for age discrimination I certainly don't know.

NP a lot of these thing are misunderstandings. I took it as you were disputing there was child labor. The guilty pleas where brought in to show there was child labor. Then the children's testimony to further that point. At no point did I say SMR was guilty of knowingly hiring child labor. If you thought I meant that then I am sorry for not making that clear.
