Most important was Rabbi Zvi Boyarsky, the head of the Aleph Institute; he organized a great many things. And Gary Apfel, who is Sholom’s current lawyer.
I gotta say, when my SIL posted to our family whatsapp that her brother Zvi made it his life mission to get SMR out of prison and worked tirelessly with Jared Kushner to make this happen I took it with a grain a salt.
