The gratefulness and the like is amazing, but this stuck me deeply wrong
I understand it struck you and apparently others as wrong, sad, etc. I just don't understand why...
In yeshiva they used to give out "Megilahs" when it came to a special event like yud tes kislev and it told the story over, no one thought it was a real megilah, it's just a way of relating a story. That's different I understand, but if there is no hard being done I just don't get the outrage.
