BH was wonderful (though I don't get what the youngsters have with cigars, it wasn't a thing back in my days of being that age).

It's a good way for the single friends to distract themselves from the realization they're still single, and for the married friends to distract themselves from the realization that they're married :P

Reminds me of the vort I heard on Shvi'i shel Pesach regarding קשין לזווגן כקריעת ים סוף: The big נס was that despite the fact that the מצרים rushing in saw that those ahead of them were drowning, they kept on charging into ים סוף....
