Let’s get real. They don’t have to put your CC info in the statement. No one is stealing your identity and the email hacker doesn’t care that you bought a bike from Walmart.

They don’t send an attachment and not even the bill total so that you don’t check and ask questions or change your spending habits. Paper is definitely better.

I don't know why you would want that in an unsecured email, they usually have your cc # on them
Why cant they do what the utility companies do and send a passcode locked encrypted PDF?

RE:  You're not on autobill pay? That's the first thing I do when I get my new card, enable autobill. No way I'm going to take a chance being late on a CC payment with these APRs
and re:
Nope, and i like to review my statements, the charges etc. since i had fraud on some cards,

That is why personally never have had autopay on anything. Just in case. Plus a lot of people do not know if you change / cancel autopay you have to, in any agreement I have seen (probably a law), cancel the autopay at least three business days before it is scheduled to be paid, so if you have a payment scheduled on a Monday then you have to cancel if no holidays are involved by Wednesday the week before.

You can still contest charges even if you pay the bill. They just credit your account. I would much rather pre-pay a bad charge and get a credit versus forgetting to pay a credit card bill on time.

In the pursuit of quickly/easily acquiring all PDF statements from numerous banks, are there platforms that do that? import PDFs? that can be downloaded in bulk?
mint? does "Right Capital"/ "Frum Finance" have that function?

(I found a reddit thread discussing this, refers to platforms like comsumer.Finerova.com hubdoc.com. or is there something in QuickBooks that enables this?)

I haven’t seen this. You might have better luck with a service/API that downloads transaction data.

Finicity claims to offer bank statement PDFs, but it might be pricey both in their fees and in the coding that’ll have to be done to set it all up.

ETA: Plaid has something in beta too.

With Amex its definitely worth to get paper also, because when you missed a payment you can call them saying you didn't get your statement and they give you another month with 0 interest
