Lynn Canyon Park might be too tiring with 2 little ones. IDK.

unless you just want to cross the bridge, which IMO is totally not worth the trip

I strongly disagree with:

"Itís not something you can do while holding a baby, even taking pictures while on the bridge is scary. However the view is simply incredible"

Tentative itinerary with 16 month old, and a 4 year old. Any suggestions-changes?

Landing at 9 a.m.

Friday
Aquarium + Stanley Park
( UBC Botanical Gardens with Treetop)

Sunday
Victoria Island- Butchart Gardens

Monday
Grouse Mountain
Capilano Salmon Hatchery -
Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge

Tuesday
Squamish Area - Sea to Sky Highway to Sea to Sky Gondola, Shanon Falls hike.

Wednesday
Granville Island

Flight home at 11

Walk around gas town china town one night

Looks familiar! 😉

Keep option open on the Squamish day for the mine. We really enjoyed it. As for holding a baby, use the baby carrier. Worked great for us on the treetop walk, shannon fall walk and everything else we did with with hike that the stroller wasn't an option.

Good morning! Anyone have any ideas where to find hotel availability near Vancouver airport right now?

I have 3 crew members who landed in CYVR a couple of hours ago and aren't having any luck with hotels as it seems something is going on in Vancouver and everything is sold out. Would even drive an hour or so to a nearby town if needed at this point but don't want to have to cross to the U.S for rooms.

looks like fairmont vancouver airport (at $500) and Travelodge Hotel by Wyndham Vancouver Airport (286) are available though expensive. https://www.kayak.com/hotels/Vancouver,BC,Canada,Vancouver-Intl-c6668-lYVR/2019-09-24/2019-09-25/2adults?sort=distance_a

I was in the same boat last night but kept trying and eventually the Fairmont airport opened a bunch of rooms. If they are in the airport they can walk up to the front desk and ask about availability.
