It's at least a 2 hour drive, so once you add in 2 hours minimum getting to the airport before your flight, you're talking about leaving at 2AM - might as well go the night before.

Does anyone have experience taking the TGV from Paris to Brussels. Do they check passports?

It’s technically not TGV but thalys.

I haven’t done it since COVID but pre COVID ID checks were on board of the train. Make sure to be there a few min before as you have to go through metal detectors (since one of the terrorist attacks a few years ago)

Otherwise very nice train and very smooth trip

Have a six hour stop over two separate tickets though... Have to recheck my luggage. Anywhere to leave in the airport? I'm assuming I can't check in 6 hours before my next flight?

What are my chances of having a minyan in Brussels Airport before a flight to TLV? 9:40 flight, so no chance of anyone local being able to daven in Antwerp before the flight (I will be on a stopover from JFK).

Also, if there will be a minyan, will they generally be by the gate or in the shul? (I don't know how accessible the shul is from the Non Schengen gates).

as people cant daven in antwerp u should have minyan in airport , shul is accessible once u pass passport , its on second floor by the stores

No specific time, but both days it started around 8am. Given the flights to NY leave around 10:00 and the flight to TLV around 9:40, it happens to work out best at that time and everone kind of showed up about the same time.

This is accessible from the B gates (just above the Duty Free Shops), and is after immigration and security. Meaning that once you are in the airport departure area (B Gates, non Schengen), you will not have to go through immigration or security to go to the shul or from the shul to the gates.
