I wouldn't necessary call him a זכאי. (I wish I would be one myself.  ::) ) That's why I wrote:

Perhaps חסידי אוה"ע is a more appropriate term, though that's out of context here.

For it to have happened through him he must be one in some sense since the rule is true whether you see why or not.

Are you. It going to pay less in taxes? Did the democrats EVER give you a tax break? Who cares if corporations pay less.

I am content with my share of the taxes and would rather fund basic govt services, roads, parks than get a few hundred dollars back. Trickle down economics does not have a good track record in helping lower and middle class raise their income bracket. A company's goal is profit, and giving companies huge tax breaks will not guarantee improved quality of life for workers.

So if someone were to give you $10m would you hide it in your mattress or would you invest it? Now you can invest it in a new business, stocks etc. (which also is good for the economy) but big companies expand and hire new workers etc.

Noone's getting 10 million from these tax cuts unless they're already a billionaire. Even if you're of modest means and get a tax cut, the market is priced high enough that the >50% of Americans without any investment account can't suddenly buy stock and start saving away. Unemployment is at record lows, so adding new workers by itself won't solve the problems facing people living paycheck to paycheck or with a small savings account.

For showing Americans that anybody really can become president. It doesn’t take a politician. All you need is a lot of cash (small loan of a million dollars can start you off), a strong work ethic, a solid plan to conquer, and a powerful loyal team behind you. #lockherup

If I am not mistaken, AT&T gave each of their 200,000 workers a 1k bonus lichvod the tax bill passing. That's 200 million dollars straight to the workers. Yes it is just one company but that's a big start

This is a really funny and absurd recitation of Dem talking points. Almost sounds like a parody.

He would rather fund roads and parks than get a tax break.

The tax cuts won't help the economy because companies are profit-driven.
If you don't care why would you comment?

Absolutely correct! They did it for totally self reasons! If they did it for benevolent reasons then management should be fired. They did it because they felt they would benefit from either the publicity, good will with the workers, or with the President. Probably a combination of the three. They gave the money away purely out of greed and out of their being profit driven!

That is why anyone who makes a statement like this
A company's goal is profit, and giving companies huge tax breaks will not guarantee improved quality of life for workers.
Clearly has never owned or run a business. When I am most profit driven and greedy that is when I hire and make sure that my employees are well taken care of and happy.
