SPG Address question....

I believe I once read that any SPG accounts whose owners share the same address can transfer points between them.  Is that correct?  If so,  does that mean that one could theoretically put down their work or kollel as the billing address, and then get other people to apply for the AMEX and put the same address, and be able to move points between accounts?

what happens if the accounts merge while both credit cards are still open?  will both credit cards deposit points to the same account?

Accounts can only be merged if the name is the same.

Yes, all activity is just deposited into the merged account.

Won't affect point deposits, but you can't transfer points to/from an account that has had an address change in the past 30 days.

I actually called them and in the same phone call I changed an address and then transferred points.

3000 points and yes it posted on the spot

So few is probably the reason. I doubt it's that simple with a few 100k.
