This can be a nightmare or barely an inconvenience depending on what prep they give you. Ask for the citroma prep.

Regular PCP, or a specialist who treats this regularly?

Refuah Sheleima in any case.

Many question antibiotics in the first place. For two months straight? Something doesn't make one bit of sense.

Had the pleasure of getting one last year. I used Dr. Arkady Broder. Procedure is done in New Brunswick. He sees patients in Dr Shoner's office in Lakewood.

colloidal silver has helped my child with PANDAS flair ups. Still comes back periodically so we put her on this when it happens

No amount of antibiotics helped her. Even for a long time

Never hurts to have your doctor recommend. I just went to where DW had it done.
Many places just do them since it is common and a big demand.

Really was not a big deal. The prep isn't much fun but also not as big a deal as people make it out to be. The procedure itself is fine because you're not awake.

I think it's sad that people talk about a colonoscopy like its a horrible thing. Those kinds of comments cause unnecessary anxiety and im sure in some cases keep people from getting one. I had a few family members the dealt with colon cancer. That's a big deal, this - not so much.
