It is no secret that doctors over prescribed antibiotics for decades, a patient has the right to educate themselves and ask for explanations.
Antibiotics or other drugs?
Antibiotics dosages are pretty standard for common things like strep.

There are many common things that are prescribed antibiotics when they can heal without.
Jews ≠ Zionists
Palestinians ≠ Hamas
Satmar ≠ SatmarHQ

Funny you should say that. Strep is one of them but who wants to take the chance. It could get a lot worse.

My kid won't take antibiotics. It's a nightmare each time. We've been begging for the shot, but they haven't been willing to give it.
Try the potch

Eta, in 08701 the pharmacies offer an option to add flavor to the meds...

Apparently they reduced the wait times of MRIs to about 30 days ..... if you want to come in at 3am to do it.

They're just trying to keep your kid from getting autism.

Some kids won't take meds no matter the flavor.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

It's not a vaccine, it's real antibiotics, just more potent and better absorbed (I presume).

I guarantee you that most of the antivaxers don't give antibiotics whether a shot or oral.

No, they feed them random chemical and biological substances, which have clear dangerous side effects, and occasionally work, but frequently don't, and are sold by huge corporate conglomerates who have insiders in the FDA and who got a tax break last week.

That's why Dr. Shanik won't give antibiotics for strep without fever. (Dr. Shanik has by far the biggest pediatric practice in Lakewood)
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

There's conflicting studies regarding rheumatic fever as a result of neglected strep, some say that the risk of antibiotic resistance is greater

Why's it silly? There's a major issue with antibiotic resistance, and it keeps getting worse. If someone will get better either way, it's much better not to use antibiotics.

There’s also a serious issue w a bacterial infection that spreads. Don’t give it for everything, but making a blanket rule of not prescribing unless someone has a fever is silly.

They don't prescribe for strep without fever, I'm not sure why it's different than what you're saying.

If someone has strep, why are you sure they will l get better without antibiotics?
