So I looked into Sky Access (thanks!). The site says they go to Shimbashi station, which is close to the Andaz (walkable, or you can take the Ginza line 1 stop). The Keisei Skyliner leaves from Ueno station and is 9 stops on the Ginza line away from the Andaz. Keisei's site seems to say it's 1:07 on a direct train. Did you actually take the Sky Access?
We did take Sky Access, however it was from NRT airport to Minato-ku district. You will be fine with either trains, they all run great. Shimbashi seems to be within walking distance to Andaz, I only suggested the metro for those few block becasue of the luggage that you may have.
BTW although we did use Suica cards for the few days we were in Tokyo, if you will only be there one day, you may manage without it. You can pay the minimum fare when you get on the metro and then you go over to the metro personnel when you exit the station to pay the difference. It is more cumbersome but you won't be stuck with the Suica card when you are leaving (unless you don't mind, I still have mine in my pocket:)
I also found "Tokyo Subway Navigation for Tourists" app (on android) very useful while there. There is WIFI on many/most stations and by entering your departure and destination station, the app tells you where to transfer and much much the fare will be.
Enjoy! Regards to the rabbi
