Have two SIM cards valid for next 21 days and have 2.5GB each of data left.
For the taking
And two JR/subway cards with value on them- but looking to get something for them.

Thanks @shmebeble for the hookup. Card worked great for my quick trip.

Looking to pass this along. Valid for about another 2 weeks. One SIM has been used up (not sure how much) while the other has all of it's 2.5 GB left.

Depends on the routing.

I will be in Tokyo (for the first time) next month.  Curious to know if anyone knows if it would be better to stay at the Hilton Tokyo or the Courtyard Tokyo Station.  Seems like the Courtyard is in a busier area but the Hilton might be a better/nicer/bigger hotel.    Any advice??

It depends on what you're doing. The Courtyard has a great location, and if you're going to day trip using a rail pass then it's even better.

I stayed at the Hilton for several days and liked it. It's close to the Shinjuku train station which is a huge city station so it makes it easy to connect with other trains around the city. I believe they also provide a shuttle to the station though I always walked. Their breakfast that's included with Hilton Gold was really large and nice, if that's your thing.

JAL is great with their new product. United on new polaris hard product and ANA- though I never flew them.
Book with ANA points if you can

Don't bother with waitlisted. If you don't clear you don't get a seat. Even if there are economy seats available.

I've flown ANA and JAL both in J. I prefer JAL. Both have great food and service but the privacy on the JAL flights was great and they provide super thick mattresses. Of course, hard to beat that ANA miles price....

OK  im still working on flights to tokyo.
i called virgin and they have nothing available.

i have the united credit card and so i searched united and i can get two seats leaving from lga in coach to chicago
changing in chicago to ANA flight to tokyo in first class for 110,000 miles each

should i grab that or is there a better way to do this?
