Kashrut at Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem

Looking to stay at the Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem sometime in the next few weeks and was wondering the current Kashrut at the hotel.

It's not. It's plain rabbanut. You can do further research as to whether they still maintain a mehadrin standard as they were known to in the past

You can email the hotel for the mashgiach's contact info. That's a good place to start though not necessarily the end point

The Hashgacha is plain Rabbanut!

I dont know of any self respecting Rav in Jerusalem that permits eating there. (I know of a few that have actually gone through the kitchen and then said they cannot permit eating there)

I have had personal experience speaking with the Rav Hamachshir, and have found extreme inconsistencies in his report.

I have nothing against it. When I was there I did my own research, and I would encourage others to do the same. The official hechsher is rabbanut. As I said, in the past they did maintain a mehadrin standard
