A friend of mine verified the story right away and it was false. The whole story was based on the fact that one woman in Monsey had a complication after surgery. I find it disgusting that the Yeshiva World never admitted being wrong but rather just took off the picture claiming that it wasn't aimed at any doctor in particular (the woman did in fact go to that doctor). Also how do they call this bombshell (??) news if they have no details to provide?
Anyway the doctor is Ariel Ortiz, a Jewish doctor that people are very highly satisfied with. I happen to know two very highly reputable surgeons in Mexico City (neurosurgeon and cardiologist) that also get US patients. Mexico does have good doctors for people that can afford it.

According to whatsapp, the story is a 100% true hoax that is completely baseless and has names to back up its veracity which is for sure non existant.

I say, if the surgery works, it's worth the kidney.
