Would you have been better off if you never found DDF?

Thoughts? I've gained a lot, but still think I would have been better off without it. And I can't give it up.

Wow, what a tough question.

Outside of the actual time I've spent (wasted? invested?), my life is objectively better for having found DDF. Between F class tickets, experiences, business opportunities, and friendships, hard to say otherwise.

That said, I wonder if I had taken all the time I've spend on DDF/DDMS/travel/churning/etc and focused it on something else if I would have been even more better off...

why do you think you would be better off without it? how much time do you spend on the forums? of you mean DDF specifically or DDMS as well?

eloquently stated my thoughts as well. But the new relationships found here definitely tipped it in favor of option #3

Time spent on the forums. No harm in DDMS

Definitely can be a huge investment of time, but I think most people come out ahead between the knowledge gained, money saved, the relationships made, etc.

There are surely worse hobbies out there!
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

This is definitely true, and a good point.

I could very easily have spent my time watching TV, snorting coke, or engaging in a myriad of other non-productive or destructive activities that would make the time on here well-spent by any measure.

But, by the same token...

It is definitely addictive. And while I have learned things that might have saved me some money, that savings pales in comparison to the time spent. So financially it's probably very bad.

However, the friendships and relationships I've made/gained, are priceless.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Is DDF taking time you would be spending somewhere else?

Knowledge, and probably savings were great. Not exactly worth the time spent, though.  :(

However, if one can make a strong decision to not as much as even glance at JS, it would be fair game to say that יצא הפסדו בשכרו

Why so negative?
Being busy 24/7 with school (literally giving up my life) I can say if DDF didn't teach me anything it taught me I can go on no sleep (DDF is way to addictive).

True I've wasted tons of time but I started my Amazon business because of DDF!
