Amex application status

When I try to check the status of my Amex app it says "Sorry, your application cannot be accessed. Please try again later."

Does that mean it's still pending review? It's been 4 days now.

I thought Amex is online only for checking application status?

AFAIK they're the only one's with online app status, but I'm sure their new accounts/recon will tell you app status as well.

I called, got shot down hard for the Business Platinum.

They said too many requests for credit in the last 6 months and too new account history with Amex.

Guess my spree is over till next year :(

Anyone tried accessing the Status page in the last month or 2 over here http://www.americanexpress.com/applicationstatus

When I go to the reason it was declined after entering my B-day I get an error message . Been happening for a while.

Is it just me ?
