Tried booking a simple domestic reward flight and got error message, called up and they said my account is being audited and I need to send in my driver's license. I just did through the comment section as per rep suggestion and she said I need to wait a few days. Anyone have this before?

FWIW I never sold miles but I did do PGGMs and, when I booked dummy flights I used the wrong bday on myself. I have a hunch this is what caused it - booking flights with different birthdays for myself even though they were all cancelled ultimately. Thoughts?
Please update us what happens. good luck

Since I have 0 experience with DL awards, maybe someone here can help a bit.
I have two awards in Asia with China Southern and China Airlines booked for August. Due to the wife being pregnant, we won't be able to take the trip. I'm prepared to throw away the miles since I'm not willing to pay $600 redeposit fees for a lousy 35000 miles. The China Southern trip has a 15 min schedule change which I know doesn't allow me to cancel for free. Delta told me pregnancy is not an acceptable reason to get the redeposit fee waived. Does anyone know if I HUCA enough that I will find an agent who will at least waive the fees for the first trip for me? I work at an airport so will station agents be able to better help me? Any chance at all to somehow get around the second trips fees?
Thanks

Keep HUCAing. Tell them a doctor doesn't allow you to travel if that is necessary

Can cancel within 24 hours. The Award Ticket redeposit fee is $150 USD after 24 hours. This fee is waived for Diamond and Platinum Medallion members. Award Tickets not canceled at least 72 hours prior to the originating flight departure time are nonrefundable.

I think you have till midnight the day after the booking.
Also, you have to call customer service to cancel award tickets so don't wait till the last minute.

If my statement is closing on the 9th and I have the bonus offer of 60k pending, anyway these points can be expedited, or I would only get them Within a few days after closing?
And I would like to book a ticket on the 16th which I see seats for on that date.
Is this a gamble or good chance I will get the points earlier? Tia

Where do you see delta points 'pending'? If it shows on amex' site it's probably posted already. Check your delta account.

Sorry didn't mean pending, just spent the threshold of 3k and now waiting for the 60k to post.

Not sure if anyone has experience with this, but Delta website is showing award availability for TLV-NYC for Aeroflot operated flights via SVO. the problem is that when i check for the SVO-NYC leg on Expertflyer or even Flying blue, it doesn't show any availability.

is Delta just showing phantom space that is not bookable? or do they have access to more award space with Aeroflot (this seems unlikely).

just hesitant to transfer points over to book the award and get stuck with skypesos that i cant use.

IINM Aeroflot uses Sabre. Expertflyer might be using Amadeus. IME Aeroflot transatlantic availability doesn't show up on Amadeus. Check Aeroflot's website for availability if you want to be sure. Ask FB to book using direct access.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Thanks, signed up for Aeroflot Bonus program and checked the direct legs, and they match the info on expertflyer.
for some reason it doesnt give me results for TLV-NYC routing tho.

I think that feature is unique to United Chase cardmembers or status.

What other airlines can I use my delta on?
All Skyteam airlines + Virgin Atlantic (and possibly also GOL)

Can also redeem for private jet

And if you reside in Asia Pacific a couple of additional partners

I assume I would need to call once I find the flight I want? (there's no way to book it myself?)
