Sheraton J-M rooms and upgrades

Does anyone have a recommendation on what room to try for in the Jerusalem Sheraton? Which of the regular rooms is best? What room should I try to get upgraded to with SPG gold for a one night stay? Do they have queen-size beds or just twin?

In 2007 they tried putting me in a non-renovated room, if there still is such a thing definitely insist on a renovated room.

They gave me a room on the 20th floor with a gorgeous view incl. old city. I went back and asked for a) a fridge b) a queen/king sized bed. They told me the only king sized bed available was on the 8th flr. It was ok but no view, although it had a small (connected/partitioned) porch. I went back to the desk and put down my gold card w/50 shek peeking out and asked "is that really the best you can do for a gold member"? I got a room on the top flr (22), fantastic view of the entire Yerushalayim (except old city), king sized bed, real fridge (not mini-bar), huge screen tv and a giant! private porch. (Just goes to prove how much YMMV )
Btw, all the rooms I saw were renovated very nicely, though I forgot to ask if the entire hotel was renovated (for future ref).

If you are coming to the Plaza as SPG, They will give you the higher floors (updated rooms) unless they dont have any available

Yes, but they won't give you the one I had so quickly. They originally gave me a nice room on the 20th flr. But this was much better.
