I had two tickets that I had booked for my mother and me with miles to Tel Aviv flying seperate days there and returning on the same day... (flying Business there and Coach on the way back)
After she had already left to TLV I called CO to change the return date to a day later and to be flying Business instead of the previously booked Coach ticket. That was over 3 weeks ago. There was no charge in changing the ticket because it was more than 21 days in advance but they didn't quote me a higher tax price nor did they remove the necessary miles from the accounts yet. On the outbound it had shown miles earned:NONE but coming back it shows the mileage amount. Is this a mistake? Am I going to be earning miles? And flying business for the price of coach? I had booked each of these tickets from someone else's account (one from my father's and one from my brother's) -- And I checked the flights and they were indeed changed. Do not they not usually take out the necessary miles right away?
Any opinions out there?
