Just curious, how'd they pull together a crew so fast? They are legal requirements. They definitely could not have had the same crew continuing from YYR to TLV.

You know, if you look into the history behind this ad, it's pretty intriguing.  It's hard to believe that El Al was at the forefront of aviation innovation at one point with the plane mentioned in this ad (and subsequent milestones and world records in later decades), but we also learn from this that El Al is still the same old El Al at its core: as great as this plane was, it was still a poor and untimely business decision at the end of the day, which we realize with a little background info from Wikipedia: "The Bristol Type 175 Britannia was a British medium-to-long-range airliner built by the Bristol Aeroplane Company in 1952 to fly across the British Empire. By the time development was completed, "pure" jet airliners from France, United Kingdom and the United States were about to enter service, and consequently, only 85 Britannias were built before production ended in 1960."

Again, the ad is from 1957 and the plane only debuted a few years earlier (although I highly doubt El Al got one from the get-go); in other words: it was already on the verge of obsolescence by the time they were operating it!
