Basically it seems the way this works is, you sign-in using foursquare and add the promo to your Amex card for each participating merchant, and once you make a qualifying purchase, a credit posts to your Amex account within a few days. Only one discount per merchant per card.

You can get:

H&M: $10 off $75
Sports Authority: $20 off $50

Seems like this will stack with any other coupons/discounts you use in store. Think there's a way to do this with multiple cards (and only one cellphone with a foursquare install)? Anyone know of any other B&M retailers where one can use this promo to get a credit?

I guess CLE isn't the best in every way

(I saw that tongue-in-cheek, seriously I think SA is overrated anyway).

Wanna try H&M? there's one in Beechwood (granted $20 off $75 isn't nearly as grand as $40 off $50, and probably not worth your time)

I happened to have asked a CSR at AMEX this two days ago and he claimed you can't. Said you would only get $20 credit.

Never trust a CSR.

Never ask a CSR, you don't need to tip them off to the possible deal.

Just synced card with both facebook and foursquare. After reading parts of the terms and conditions I am supposed to be able to see the foursquare deal pop up on my phone and agree to it to be fully eligilbe for it, however it is not showing up. Only deal showing up is "Spend $100 and get a $25 cash card." I manually added the sports authority deal through facebook.

Can someone signup for JUST the foursquare deal and check in to sports authority (you do not have to physically be there to check in, just search for it through the app) to see if the deal pops up for them?

Upon further investigation...

If you look at the terms and conditions BOTH facebook and foursquare are included. Meaning it is essentially the same promotion.

ALSO, noticed the sports authority deal on a screenshot after I synced foursquare. Look at phone and read the fine print...

Once a deal is added to card through facebook it is essentially added on 4square as well.

Don't know about 4sq+facebook stacking, but I was able to get the $40 Sheraton link, like, love credit multiple times on the SPG account with AU cards.
