This whole thing worked like a charm.
no questions asked when checking in. all ready to go... replying from the presidents lounge in newark.

just one thing abt the lounge.... what's up with the '' just one drink/beer at a time '' business ? I have to keep walking back to the bar and climing my wife wants one too just to get 2 at a time... oh well. still worth every free mile, mex pltnm, priority pass, business first.... all thanks to dans deals :).

Airlines to refund the tax on tickets booked before July 23.

How wonderful. seems that the IRS has a surplus. :)
Maybe China borrowed a bit too much money :) :)

A baby ticket is 10% of the full fare ticket in the class you are flying. + taxes and fees. Prices will vary depending how much a full fare ticket is at the time of booking.

No chance on getting AMEX to refund transfer fees prior to when they stopped charging, right?

A good SM will always work. I got credit for the transfer fees thru SM, even on the times there wasn't a FAA shutdown. So now you definitely have good chances.

If this happens it would be smart for CO to run a promo for Amex transfers, or maybe they figure people will be transferring anyway. Hmmm.

Does SPG also charge for domestic transfers? If not, why are AMEX and SPG different?
