Decent Cordless Phone Deal
« on: June 05, 2008, 08:14:28 AM »
I need a decent Cordless phone for a good price. I don't need anything fancy, just one phone with one line. The only feature I really want is speaker phone.

I know you're specifically asking for a good price, but I just wanted to throw in that the Uniden is a very solid cordless phone in my opinion. I think the one I got was the 5GHz.

I hate Uniden.... The screen flickers, I have a problem that is sometimes says "Welcome, please wait..." and I cant use it...

This happened with two phones of mine, first was a sunrocket, now the 5ghz one I bought...

I suspect it might be caused by the dsl line I use (thats something they implied when I called them...

Anyone else experience this?

The best cordless phones ever made are Panasonic. I have been using them for over 10 years now. I just got one on Amazon a 6.0ghz DECT. one line AWESOME!! speakerphone no answering machine for under $40 shipped.

it could also very well be that you get bad electricity in afghanistan  see if you can get a surge protector or something like that to stabilize the electricity
