I really think it would help me alot, anyone else experience the same problem as me?
I apply and manage the credit cards of me, my wife and parents etc (for the bonuses obviously) but sometimes I have to call to reconsider apps or discuss shipping that must be done by the primary, and untill I get them to speak etc etc.
Is there some remedy for this?

just have yourself added as an accnt manager (for amex). Im sure Chase and other banks have a similar option too.

Its a problem Ive run into a bit when applying for my wife or trying to help someone else out. The easiest way is for the primary to call and give permission for you to speak on their behalf. With Chase they allow 24 hours after that call for you to act on their behalf so you dont have to be with the person. You can just call anytime in the next 24 hours and it should be noted on the account.

But The problem is indeed for after 24 hours.

I always get all defensive and say who are you to tell me I am not a woman, just because my voice is masculine dosen't mean that I am not who I say I am. Usually works... Mind you my wife is usually there with me when I call but it is more entertaining this way

that doesnt help your case if you need something extra that the rep doesn't have to give you; as a rule you never want to upset the rep when you need something.

True, although they usually dont get upset, they get apologetic and sometimes have even gone further out of the way to help me as they "hurt" my feelings.

never had the problem, as far as i know when they pull up your acct., your sex doesn't show up

Ya I am pretty sure it dosen't but some names are almost exclusively female...

Most voice changers make you sound more robotic then human, not recommended

I have a spoofcard which I won here. I does sound a drop robotic but I've used it several times to call acting as my wife!

I also use spoofcard when I need to sound like a woman.

I need to speak on a higher pitch, and sounds very robotic, as well as not very crisp.
I get those: are you on speaker phone, handsfree or skype reactions...

As I'm spoofing also the account holders phone number, I say: weird, not sure why its like this...

They need urgently to improve the sound quality.

Re: Spoofcards. You should know that when calling an 800 number, they may actually see your real number since they have a different cller ID system then regular home phones. Just saying.

Yup, it's called ANI. There's no way around it when dialing a toll-free directly, but if you're using a spoofcard or calling card (with a non-toll free access number), then you can try *69 so they don't have your number in order to pass it on as the ANI.
