If I send someone cash, but have it pull out of my credit card instead of bank account, I know paypal charges a fee... but does it post as a charge or a cash advance?

Might be in the PayPal thread. On Chase CC's it is first pending as a cash advance but then posts as a charge.

If you choose family of freinds it will post as a regular charge

Fee is a little under 3%

I think it is a valid question

Amazon payments when selecting Goods or services, the charge would show up as a cash advance

The OP would like to know if the same rules apply here even though you are paying a fee

Never looked in to it, I always used a chase card and it posted as a purchase

The whole point of selecting goods or services was that it should NOT post as a cash advance.

With AP you would have to select friends or family that's the way their system worked
