There's not always a refund button within 24 hours.  You need to read the fare rules before buying the ticket.

technically, you can read the terms after you buy because you always have 24 to cancel, but i think it would make much more sense to know what you're buying before you buy it.

You need to know what you are buying because usually you will need to cancel way after 24-hours.

Of course you need to know what you're buying, no one was saying otherwise. what Nitantnel was saying was that since you have 24 to cancel, so why do you need to know what you're buying BEFORE buying, why can't you find out afterwards. But i don't think that would make too much sense, because why would want to find out after you bought it that you bought the wrong thing and need to cancel right away, if you can find out BEFORE you buy it, and buy the right thing?

i was gonna say that's only if they allow you to view the terms and conditions after purchase. but can't u request the t&c from them? whatever, this is all pointless talk. it would just make much more sense to know what you're buying before you buy.

Not AFAIK.
I have also had real refundable tickets changed into non-refundable tickets by a schedule change but was saved because of a screenshot of the terms.
