Actually, noone suggested it yet.

I was the one who mentioned it, and it's the most viable option for me IMHO.

I opened the card two months ago, didn't spend much on it, and I just got approved for the match to the 30k offer which requires $4500 spend.
I would send an SM asking for more time to reach the additional spend limit

F/R risk. I might as well send funds to my friends via paypal, it'll be much less than 6% that way...
Purchasing from a store via Paypal Checkout is the same F/R risk as sending money peer to peer?
Doesn't sounds right to me.

Ether  buy something refundable so you can get your points and give yourself more time or ask one of your friends who owns a small business to charge your card and you will front the % and have him refund you on a diff card.  This way it wont look weird and for tax reasons he doesn't have a income from the transaction.
Perfection is my goal, excellence will be tolerated.

Although it's not really money-laundering (as you are not going to claim a donation on your taxes) this looks very shady to any auditor of either the orginization or indivdual.
I would never do this.

How did you get the match, phone or sm? What did they say they'll do, are they changing your promo or manually adding the points?
If its manually I'm pretty sure you can take some more time spending the money and sm for the points as soon as you hit 4500

Buy Target/Walmart gcs from PJ at 97% and sell back at 91% cash or 95.5% in Amazon money.
Of course a 6% loss still hurts...

Or try to find a combo with a smaller spread than 6% from them?

Dan I need to spend $1700 on my Chase Card in under a month to get the 50,000 Additional Sapphire Points

and the Walmart cards out out of stock what's the second best option in cards?

Thanks

No, but you can use AMEX cards to buy gift cards and sell them back at a 6% loss.

Dan,

Thanks for the answer, its much easier  for me to just use my Chase Card to buy the Gift Cards and selling them back to Plastic Jungle for the 6% Loss

Thanks again

Sorry for the offer/suggestion I didn't realize that there is something morally wrong with that. And I wasn't implying to money laundering.... just trying to help...
