The local (TR) magazine had an interview with HG a couple of weeks ago. It was very sympathetic, he gave his whole Claridger sob story etc
He claims that since than hes had 2 successful programs in hotels,
if anyones interested I can try to scan and upload.

I have priced out a few hotels for this year and the pricing seems higher then usual. Anyone seen that as well?
lasko- 50k for 2 rooms
gateways - 22k a room
others as well similar pricing.

Many people have been doing a "vacation at home" where they pay for cleaning and food and invite the kids to them and enjoy Pesach with all the comforts of home without the big bill at the end.
Plusses:
Private Seder
You choose the menu
No airports/traveling
No relying on Mashgichim (i.e. 20 year old boys who don't know what Amira L'Akum means) to have a Kosher Pesach

i would agree but need warm weather. its the only time a year i can get off from work so gotta make it count.

2nd Idea:
A few of my family members rented a house together in Florida for Pesach and then bought the food. It's not the same as a hotel but it's much cheaper...
